T-Bone Tom’s is one of those places that’s been around for as long as I can remember. The food and atmosphere are the reason why it’s been around so long.
T-Bone Tom’s Atmosphere
I remember as a teenager, my best friend and I would meet her dad at T-Bone Tom’s for lunch when he was in town. We always knew when he was here, we’d meet up there. It’s one of those places that takes you back and you remember it like it was yesterday. They have plenty of options for seating. You can sit at the bar top, in the dining room or outside on the patio. On the weekends they even have a band for some added entertainment.
For starters, the Armadillo Eggs may be the most genius idea anyone has every had! Jalapeno stuffed with chopped beef, barbeque sauce, breaded and fried to perfection. Diners, Dives and Drives even recognized them for this amazing appetizer. As a kid, the fried pickles were my favorite and I still love them to this day. The boudin balls are also a crowd pleaser with our family. They have a huge variety of options, but these are my favorites.
Lunch and Dinner
I’m one of those that sticks with what I know and I always get the same thing. For me, that’s the steak finger basket with mashed potatoes. It also comes with Texas toast and it’s the best ever when dipped in the gravy. It never disappoints. I also love, love the fried okra. It’s got the perfect crunch in every bite and fried perfectly. The chicken fried steak is also a fantastic option. The beef tips and noodles are great too! I’ve never had anything bad there, so you can’t go wrong with any dish.
